Today I finally finished my F3, "Vent Frais," which I've been working on for a little over eight months now.
While it was a great experience to get to write and direct this film, I'm extremely relieved that it's over. It has been an emotionally tolling story to tell, not only because it deals with two sisters in dire circumstances, but also because I've known from the beginning that this film was in my sister's memory. And thus it had to be good. She deserves my best and hardest work.
While "Vent Frais" might not be the next best picture, I feel like I've given Livvy my best effort.
I have so many people to thank for helping me make this possible. And I have the film school to thank for letting me dedicate this film to Livvy (at least for the private screening).
I'm so glad to be finished, and so fulfilled to have done this pour ma sœur.
